Since coal still has 35% energy left in it and the ash is unusable for concrete ect. – from Alaska power plant information
- While ash is hot, belt it in area where combustion gasses can be controlled.
- Use energy output from ash to create hydrogen/oxygen and burn off coal with pure oxygen.
This will leave hydrogen as a byproduct to use or sell. It can also be integrated into a fuel cell load leveling power on demand generation system.
- Nitrides should not form in an atmosphere free of nitrogen. Added temps may allow some heavy
Metal recovery.
- Consider using ash to make geocrete products if it has to much contaminates to be commercially
Viable. Specifically good as pavers for road construction ect.
